AS-IS RESTORATION PROJECT — $9,900.

This Japanese-built 1984 Yamaha C7 is being offered as a restoration project at a leader price. It has a strong underlying platform: the original soundboard is in good condition, the ribs are good, and bridge bearing is good. It has excellent potential for the right buyer, technician, institution, or restoration project.

The price reflects the work required. This piano is not being represented as retail-ready, freshly serviced, or ready for concert use.

Known work required: spongy tuning pins and does not reliably hold tuning; needs oversize tuning pins; all strings, damper felts, and damper guide-rail bushings should be replaced; top action requires replacement/rebuilding including hammers, shanks, and flanges; wippens and underlevers need reconditioning; backchecks, key bushings, keybed/action felts, and trapwork need attention; complete regulation and touch-weight work required. The high-gloss ebony case has noticeable dings, scratches, and wear, including lid and arm damage, and needs cosmetic repair, cleaning, and buffing. Existing Dampp-Chaser should be replaced or removed. Bench is not included.
