Arts and Crafts, 1905, Bechstein model 9 upright piano with an oak case. Cabinet features statement, iron hinges on the fall and top lid with trefoil embellishments. The large architectural candlesticks sit on top of the square piano legs. The openwork music desk is in a vertical slatted design. The iron key escutcheon is a clover leaf. Bechstein manufacturers logo inscribed on a plaque on fall. Piano has an eighty-five note keyboard and two pedals. Designed by English architect, Walter Cave. A collector's piece with designer pedigree.
