Serial number 493466 confirms a manufacture year of 1985 at the Steinway factory.This piano has been meticulously cared for and sits in a climate-controlled environment. Upon a recent inspection and completion of professional maintenance and tuning, my piano technician noted that the instrument is in spectacular condition for its age suggesting it may have undergone a high-quality rebuild or extensive reconditioning in its past. I may have been a child when that happened, so I don't have a record of it, but of course you can see for yourself upon inspection.
