Steinway Concert Grand (D) purchased from Steinert & Sons in Boston in mid 1980s after use from the Steinway concert tour. Its CD203 and the serial number is 420392. Date of manufacture is
April 1971. Action replaced in mid 1990's with Stanwood action (touch weight) because it is better than the Steinway action. Hammers are post 92 Hamburg steinway parts from Steinway. Has Steinway German shanks and whippens (no teflon). Piano has been lightly used and the action is in excellent condition. Sound is terrific and the sound board is in excellent condition without any cracks. Has a dual-bucket Damp-chaser system for stabilization. Finish is satin ebony with some
knicks but is overall in good condition. Its a Steinway concert grand sound: unlike any other smaller version of Steinway.
