Steinway Concert Grand Model C, Art Case, totally rebuilt August 2026


A magnificent 88 Key 1896 Steinway & Sons Model C Concert Grand, fully rebuilt from the ground up. This 88-key Art Case grand in hand-rubbed satin ebony has a new soundboard, pinblock, strings, bridge caps, dampers, keytops, and a renewed action with new Steinway hammers, shanks, and repetitions. Documentation includes photos and videos of the rebuild process. At roughly 7 foot 5 inches, the Model C delivers the power and presence of a concert instrument while remaining manageable in most spaces. Action was put together by our in house technicians, and Manuel Buri graced us by finishing the voicing resulting in a rich, clear, sublime, full spectrum tone and exceptional responsive action.
