Rare in the US: European-built Hamburg Steinway D Concert Grand with 1-piece ivory key covers and ebony sharps. Manufactured by Steinway & Sons in Hamburg, Germany. Purchased from a Steinway Artist in 2007. Rich and filling sound with beautiful tones. Back side of case has a few shallow dings that are visible when viewed at an angle, and a small patch where it had been scratched. Regularly tuned and recently cleaned on the inside by a technician. Soundboard has gaps that do not affect the sound, mentioned in attached appraisal. Artist bench included. Piano resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
