This fine German piano was made in Berlin in 1952. It has all the original parts, including ivory key tops, light-weight hammers, soundboard, strings, etc. It is not rebuilt. But we have thoroughly reconditioned, regulated and voiced the piano. The touch and tone are light, with a gentle, slightly airy quality. It does not have the strong, deep, full-belly sound of many modern grands. However, its unique quality might be just right for someone who wants a piano that's easy to play with a lot of mid-to-upper harmonics. The case is a simple open-grain mahogany with a light brown stain. The piano may be played in the Flynn Pianos workshop in Great Barrington, MA.
