This is a good piano with great potential. It plays and tunes well, looks good (if you like rosewood), and has a clear, even tone with a light touch. It was restrung with large tuning pins in 1994, NY Steinway hammers and shanks installed in 2001. At some point in the last 20-30 years it was refinished and had the keys nicely recovered in plastic. There are tight splits and modest crown in the soundboard. If you don't need the top three notes of the standard 88-note keyboard, this is an economical path into a rosewood Steinway B. Price includes bench, ground floor delivery within 50 miles, climate control and one in-home tuning.
