Leopold Holder, the inspecting technician found the instrument in very
good condition. The soundboard is original to the piano and in very good condition. Pin-block is
original and it is holdng the torque of the tuning pins. Tuning pins and strings are clean of
oxidation. Action parts are original 2000 Steinway issue and are in excellent working condition.
Hammers are original and show very minor use. Damper felts are in very good condition. Underlever
system is in very good condition. Key-bushings are in very good condition with no excessive
side-to-side play. Key-tops are in very good condition. It is classified as an art-case instrument as it is a part of Crown Jewel
Collection and in macassar ebony. High gloss ebony lacquer finish is in fair condition with some
minor scratches. Pedals are working properly. The tone of the piano is as expected of this size
Steinway.
