About the Piano:
Up for sale is a beautiful piece of American musical history: a 1926 Chickering & Sons Model F Baby Grand Piano, originally manufactured in Boston, MA (Serial #142953). Chickering was one of the premier American piano houses of the "Golden Era," celebrated for its rich, warm, and resonant tone.
This piano has been kept in a stable home environment in South Milwaukee.

Condition Details:
• Playability: It holds a tune well and all keys are fully functional (none are stuck or dead). It has not been tuned recently, so a standard pitch raise/tuning will be needed after it is moved to its new home.
• Keys: Features the original natural ivory key veneers. In good vintage condition with standard light age-yellowing and 1 or 2 minor edge chips.
• Has been inspected by a piano technician and found to be in good health, including body, sound board, frame, bridges, action, pin block, strings/winding, and pedals.
• Bonus History: Includes a fascinating piece of history—the original 1920s paper warranty document issued from Chickering, featuring the signature of Chickering’s Vice President.

Perfect for a vintage enthusiast, a student looking for a grand piano action, or anyone wanting a stunning centerpiece for their home.
