The C. Bechstein factory in Germany officially confirmed the piano by serial number and provided the **original handwritten archive document** documenting its commission and subsequent shipment to **London, England**.

The piano has cosmetic wear consistent with its age, including a **water mark on the front of the casework that should be easily removable by a professional piano restorer**.
