Stunning 1923 Knabe 6’4” grand piano. The piano was professionally refinished within the last 10 years showcasing its beautiful satin mahogany case. Original ivory keys in near perfect condition. Some strings have been replaced. Abel Natural Felt hammers were professionally installed two years ago. At that time, the piano’s action was regulated, too. The Ampico system is present, but needs to be restored.

I bought it with the intention of restoring the player and to continue restoring the action. I’ve decided to go a different route and look for a smaller, non-player piano. The piano plays well and has a lovely tone.
