Up for sale is an 1881 Steinway model “A-1” Salon Grand piano (serial #48445) in satin ebony finish. This is an 85 key model which came out in 1878, making this a 4th year production piano. Piano length is 6’2” classifying it as a “Salon” or “Parlor” Grand model. Piano has been verified by Gist Piano Shop in Louisville, Ky. This piano has been in the same family for 100 years.
