This is a Steinway & Sons Model M (Baby Grand, 5’7”), originally completed in 1940 and professionally restored by Steinway of Naples in 2022 using genuine Steinway parts and procedures.
The restoration included a full mechanical and musical rebuild, returning the piano to the level of performance and reliability expected of a modern Steinway, while preserving the character and warmth that make vintage Steinways so special.
The piano is finished in Ebony Satin, with a beautifully rebuilt belly, new strings, rebuilt action, and a clear, responsive touch. It has been carefully maintained in a private home and is in excellent condition throughout.
This is not a distressed or discounted instrument. The price reflects a private sale and a desire to place the piano with someone who will actively play and enjoy it, rather than letting it sit unused.
