This GC1 was manufactured in the highest quality original facility in Hamamatsu, Japan (ID# 6019215). This piano was specifically made and legally sold in the US market (NOT gray-market import) and thus eligible for official Yamaha servicing. This production site is the same facility which produces Yamaha’s very best CFX Concert Grand pianos. Many US pianos are now produced in outsourced facilities in Indonesia, the US, China or Taiwan, as indicated by letters ahead of their ID number (T/U/H/YT/J).
