We have a beautiful, playable 1890s John Broadwood & Sons Rosewood Boudoir Grand in excellent condition. It has been in our family for over 40 years – we no longer have room for it. It has had a mechanical restoration (pin block, hammers, felts and sound board). The piano is in our son’s home two blocks from The Galleria in Houston, Texas. The manufacturer began in England in the late 1700s and still produce pianos today. Beethoven, Chopin and others played these pianos. The Broadwood history is available from us.
