Built in 1991, with a full original German Renner action and German Kluge key frame, this is not an Aeolian produced piano. This brief window from 1990 to about 1997 is regarded as a pinnacle era, the only produced a handful of these every year by hand in the original factory in Boston, (Haverhill) Massachusetts. This factory reopening started their serial number series at 90,000. So, this is the 194th that they completed, though they only built a handful of model BB pianos every year.

I am a rebuilder located in the North Bay, Sonoma County, California. This is a perfect condition California Piano, and (I don’t understand why!!) it was never played. It’s a time capsule, and the action mechanically is like new. The hammers are barely grooved and 100% unshaped. Never sanded. The base strings are still copper colored, and I guarantee you, you will not find another one like this! It is freshly regulated and serviced, and needs nothing.

I have it in my shop right next to a 1986 Yamaha C7. The C7 is powerful and colorful, but the Mason & Hamlin sounds like an angel next to it. The smoothness and richness of tone is at a completely different level, as well as the responsiveness of the Renner action.
