This piano has been inspected by a professional technician. Her assessment:

“Good pin-blocks and tight tuning pins. It holds a tuning well. All the keys repeat, all the repetition levers have good spring tension. I didn’t notice any troublesome cracks or damage. It is structurally sound.”

Cosmetics: Cabinet shows finish wear consistent with age. The instrument would benefit from refinishing if a pristine appearance is desired.

This is Japanese-built Yamaha from the era that established their reputation for durability and clarity.
