DESCRIPTION
This piano is a classic example of Steinway's square piano manufacturing at its finest. During the 19th Century, many of Steinway's famous patents and claims to early fame were because of their square grand pianos. This beautiful piano was built by the famous Steinway & Sons Piano Company in 1877, a time when Steinway built more square pianos than uprights and grand pianos combined.
This piano is made of beautifully carved Brazilian Rosewood and is of the Rococo Victorian style. The instrument is elegantly carved and has a massive, handsome appearance. It is being restored to like new condition, inside and out.
A matching period piano stool is included.
