Originally rebuilt during the Golden Era of NY Steinway, this Model C was fully rebuilt with new soundboard which is made out of finest Alaska Sitka spruce after carefully dried to a proper moisture content. The craftsman has over 40 years of experience installing soundboard both on used and new Steinway (as he worked at the Steinway factory as well). New York Steinway hammers as well as shanks/flanges along with Abel whippens were carefully regulated and hammers voiced by some of the best piano technicians in the Tri-State area. This model C is 7’5” long (6.5” longer than Model B); therefore, it produces more robust bass than the B with amazing Bell like treble! It’s a joy to play on this piano to express your emotions!
