This piano was restored internally in February of 2013. Everything was done, including the soundboard, bridges, pinblock, keybed, and action. This Steinway plays and sounds AT LEAST as good as a new one. Maybe better. Its tone and projection are astonishing. The bass growls like rolling thunder, while the treble is bell-like, and crystal clear. The action is perfectly regulated, lightning fast, and ultra responsive. There are no issues whatsoever with the sound or playability of this instrument. It's perfect. This was a high end, concert level restoration done by Ken Hannah, a nationally recognized Craftsman member of the PTG. Feel free to Google his work and info. As for the quality of the restoration, it speaks for itself. I have personally seen many hundreds of restorations on pianos, and this one is a TOP LEVEL restoration. If you are an accomplished pianist or artist, you'll appreciate every aspect of this piano. It is a concert level performance piano in every way.

The case was NOT refinished. However, it is still in good condition, with an occasional character mark here and there. The hardware was polished and / or re-plated. I have included good pictures. Look at them. (Full disclosure- pics were taken in the previous owner's home before we brought it back to our store. It was NOT detailed yet, and it still looks THAT good.)
