1984 Everett DU-49 Upright, very good condition, recently appraised at $4000. Here is the information from the certified RPT technician:

After examining and researching your Everett Studio Upright I can assess the market value to be $4,000.00 . My research shows it to have been made in 1984 in South Haven Michigan when the Everett factory was owned by Yamaha . This particular model is almost identical to the Yamaha upright model U1 . I find the piano to be in excellent condition with a very nice even tone and stable tuning . I would put it in the above average category for a piano of its age. There is no evidence of excessive wear , neglect or abuse. Many aspects of the piano are in "like new" condition. I especially noticed the sound quality and condition of the bass strings. There are no soundboard cracks or bridge issues , and tuning pin torque is in the acceptable range of 40-60lbs psi (anything between 20-80 is workable) . This is a fine piano for all levels of use , from beginner to accomplished professional .
