I purchased it new from an authorized dealer in 2015, transferable 10 year factory warranty through 2025. Exquisite condition: kept under a custom cover and humidity control system (including undercover) since new. Perfectly maintained: tuned 4 times per year, and received its full Kawai Master Piano Artisan service in 2016. Customized: includes a factory-authorized installation of the Magic Lid assist system, which makes opening and closing the piano easier and safer.

This piano sees light, but regular use for an average of 20 minutes a day. Owned by a professional classical pianist, professor, technician, and writer for a prominent piano industry publication as a secondary practice instrument -- never used for teaching or performances, it shows extremely light wear. This particular Shigeru is extremely versatile, with a controllable touch that doesn't overwhelm a home setting, yet enough power in reserve to fill a small to moderate sized hall or church sanctuary.
