The tone is even and warm, with a sweet timbre at low dynamic levels, and clear brilliance when played with force. It has a new soundboard and Bolduc pin block, plus NY Steinway hammers and Renner reps, etc., including a new underlever assembly with the flexible sostenuto tabs essential for smooth middle pedal functioning. The case features a high gloss ebony finish with natural wood inside the rim, as well as the classic "window pane" style legs.
