Original owner, who has passed away, purchased it new in 1989. As stated in the letter below, Steinway evaluated the piano as in excellent structural condition, no soundboard or bridge cap cracks, and the original pinblock is holding at an average of 60+ in-lbs. The piano action is in “like-new” working condition. Clearly it was impeccably maintained over the years.
