The piano and matching bench were manufactured in the main Yamaha factory at Hamamatsu, Japan. The ivory gloss finish of the case is an uncommon color, but the tone was superior to the others on display at Hendricks Pianos in Downer's Grove, IL where the piano was purchased.

An inspection report done by Iron Range Piano Co. is available. The piano has been regularly tuned and humidity regulated and is in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition.
