### The Bösendorfer 225 – An Orchestra at Your Fingertips

Measuring approximately 7 feet 4 inches in length, the Bösendorfer 225 occupies a special place in the company's distinguished lineup.

Belonging to the legendary Imperial family, the Model 225 features 92 keys rather than the conventional 88. Its four additional bass notes extend the keyboard down to a low F, adding depth, resonance, and an extraordinary richness to the instrument's overall sound.

These additional bass strings contribute to the piano's remarkable tonal complexity, even when the extra notes are not played directly.

The Model 225 combines the power and tonal presence of a concert grand with the intimacy and sensitivity desired by discerning pianists. Its remarkable dynamic range allows the player to move effortlessly from the most delicate pianissimo to a powerful, orchestral fortissimo.

### The Bösendorfer Tradition – Since 1828

Founded in Vienna in 1828 by Ignaz Bösendorfer, the company has long been recognized as one of the world's most prestigious piano manufacturers. Its instruments have been admired by generations of great musicians, including Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms, and other legendary figures of the European musical tradition.

Nearly two centuries later, Bösendorfer continues to handcraft its instruments in Austria, preserving the distinctive Viennese tradition of piano building.

Unlike conventional grand pianos, Bösendorfer instruments are designed so that the body of the piano contributes to the resonance of the sound, much like the body of a fine violin. This distinctive approach produces the warm, singing tone, extraordinary richness, and remarkable variety of tonal colors for which Bösendorfer is celebrated.

**A truly exceptional opportunity to welcome a piece of Vienna's great musical heritage into your home.**
