Condition:

This is an antique instrument being sold as-is for restoration, rather than as a ready-to-play piano.

Of the 88 keys, 87 produce sound when played, although many notes are out of tune. One key does not currently produce sound. The cabinet shows age-related wear, including scuffs, scratches, and finish damage. A piece of wood has detached from the front-right corner of the case; the piece has been retained and will be included. There is also a substantial visible crack in the front-right leg.

The interior shows age-related wear, including visible cracking/checking in the exposed wood around the tuning pins in one grouping.

A technician who previously serviced the instrument in 2022 expressed concerns about its general mechanical condition, although no detailed written assessment was provided. Buyers should anticipate potentially extensive restoration work.

The piano has not undergone a recent comprehensive inspection, so its current mechanical condition and restoration requirements have not been fully established.
