Walnut-finished J&C Fischer console upright, purchased new in December 1969. Single-owner instrument, kept in the same home its entire life. Cosmetically in excellent condition with a rich, warm finish.

A classic mid-century console with a fuller tone than a spinet. Made in the USA during the era when J&C Fischer was an American manufacturer — not to be confused with the modern Chinese-made Fischer brand.

Note: Has not been tuned in over 8 years; buyer should budget for a tuning (and possible regulation) before use.
