Absolutely gorgeous, like-new Boston Model GP-178 Performance Edition II grand piano in the Polish Ebony finish. Serial #195604 (Purchased new in 2019 - only 7 years old). Piano features pretty much all the same features as the brand new ones: Maple Inner Rim, Octagrip pinblock, Pommele Sapele veneered inner rim, Bronze colored lacquered and black lettered plate with new style black understring felt. Soft fall fallboard, fallboard and lid locks, dual lid prop sticks, heavy duty dual wheel solid brass casters, -the list just goes on and on.

Piano has been just recently tuned, voiced, regulated, and serviced, and given a clean bill of health. Must experience to appreciate what an exquisite instrument this really is. Has an amazingly deep and powerful bass, but also sings all the way to the topmost notes. Action is a dream to play on and is extremely responsive.

New Boston Model GP 178's in the high polish ebony finish retail for around 40k. (You may be able to find a dealer willing to sell you one new for around 35k if you are fortunate.) At 20K, this piano is a tremendous value and, like I say, it's only 7 years old - it's really and truly in pristine (showroom) condition. It has not been played a whole lot (not because it isn't a fantastic instrument, but because it turned out the (ahem) present owner had less time to practice than initially projected...) So there is hardly any wear on the hammers, keys and other action parts. Strings are really like new. I really just want to see the piano go to a good home where it will be played and enjoyed, by someone with the time to play and appreciate such a lovely instrument. Because it definitely is that.

Piano comes with its original adjustable padded upholstered artist bench (-also in like-new condition), large caster cups that fit the large dual wheel brass casters, felt key cover, and keys for the fallboard and lid locks.
