Great-condition Japanese-made Kawai KG-2 grand piano. I don't play it enough anymore and it deserves someone who will!

The KG-2 is well regarded from this era, and this particular instrument was described by a nationally-recognized piano instructor as the best non-Steinway she'd ever played. Relatively light touchweight without feeling shallow or spongy, easier to play than most grands its size while maintaining fine dynamic control. Action is even across the keyboard and the repetition is clean. It has a warm tone, a little brighter than a typical Steinway but not strident.

Purchased in 2006 and kept in a private home since. Recently professionally cleaned, tuned, and inspected. The inspection found excellent overall condition but for a small crack in the soundboard which occurred when the piano was moved from Michigan to New Mexico about 20 years ago. It’s been stable ever since and does not affect the tone; shown in attached photo. Cabinet has normal wear consistent with age and household use, with some cosmetic discoloration on the inner rim just below the hinge (also shown in attached photos).
