This is a 2000 Steinway & Sons Model M Baby Grand Piano, purchased new, played, kept and loved in a climate-controlled home environment.

It has been regularly tuned by a professional technician to preserve its tonal quality, responsive action and structural integrity. Soundboard, bridges, and tuning pins are all in excellent condition. Most recent tuning: August 14, 2025.

The soundboard is signed by Harvey Z. Steinway, the last family member to head the company. It was built following a period of major reinvestment by the company in quality production.

Since this piano was treated as a musical instrument and not a furniture piece, there are light cosmetic effects of use (wear along the edge of the music desk and a lacquer blemish on the lid). The sound and structure of the piano are immaculate.
