Yamaha U1H upright piano, serial 2038222. Made in Japan (Hamamatsu) circa 1975–1976. Classic polished black finish.

This is one of the highly regarded mid-1970s U1H models — solid Japanese build quality from Yamaha’s best era for these instruments. It has been in our home and used very lightly over the years. Excellent overall condition, both cosmetically and mechanically. No major issues that we’re aware of.

It is currently out of tune (hasn’t been played regularly recently). Buyer can arrange their preferred technician.
