Steinway ‘A’ grand piano, 6’0”, from 1884. 85-key. Serial no. 52515. Rebuilt twice, most recently in 1982 by Sam Camilleri of A&C PianoCraft in NYC. Steinway action, soundboard, pin block, pins, strings and dampers all replaced at that time. (Legs, back of stand, and keys (now plastic) were previously replaced.)
Nice, mellow sound. Glossy ebony finish showing its age, but still impressive. Minor dings. Asking $8,000. Bench included. (Buyer arranges shipping.)
