Offered for sale is our Steinway & Sons Model B grand piano, serial number 439207, finished in classic satin ebony.

This piano was purchased new by our family from the Steinway showroom in New York City in 1974 and has remained in the same family ever since. It has always been kept in a residential, climate-controlled environment and has received very little use during the past 30 years.

The Steinway Model B measures approximately 6 feet 11 inches and is widely regarded as an exceptional size for a serious home, teaching studio, performance space, church, or institution. It offers the depth and tonal presence of a larger concert instrument while remaining practical for many residential settings.

The piano retains its original character and components. It has never been restrung, and the action has not been rebuilt. The satin ebony cabinet presents attractively for its age, with normal signs of careful residential use.
