This beautiful satin mahogany Steinway features a rare Sheraton-style case design and is in fair condition for its age. Professionally tuned and inspected by Georgetown Piano, it retains its original case, bridges, and pinblock. Previous restoration work includes restringing, repinning, and replacement of the hammers and hammer shanks.
As expected for a piano of this vintage, the soundboard has age-related cracks and the action shows normal wear from many years of use. A Master Piano Technician concluded that the piano is playable as is and noted that a future owner may eventually choose to undertake a more comprehensive restoration. Vintage pre–World War I Steinway Model O pianos are highly regarded for their craftsmanship, musical character, and enduring value.
