The piano is in excellent condition overall, mechanically and in
construction. The soundboard is in great condition; the underside structure is also in
very good condition. The ribs appear solid, and the tuning pin torque is good. The
bridge and bridge pins appear solid, with no signs of splitting. Strings (bass & treble
wire) and tuning pins have been replaced. Keytops are ivory and in gorgeous, white
condition. Trapwork and lyre are in very good condition. Plate, hinge pins, and
aliquots in good condition. Damper felt in like new condition and working order.

Cabinet: Case finish is mahogany and is in beautiful condition. The main body of the
piano looks nice, with few blemishes. The legs and lyre have no noticeable scratches.
The music desk is in good condition. The bench matches the piano, its finish is in good
condition and legs are tight.

Action: All action parts, including hammers, shanks, flanges, and wippens have been
replaced in the last couple of decades or so. Hammer heads have normal string grooves,
which will need attention at some point. Knuckles and backchecks are in good
condition. The back action and damper assembly are also in very good condition. Key
bushings are adequate, possibly having been replaced. Regulation will be needed
eventually, but piano is quite functional as is.
