This Steinway resided for many years at Longview Farms Studios in North Brookfield, MA. and was likely used in projects by J. Geils, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Pat Metheny, Arlo Guthrie, Archie Shepp, Pete Seeger, Max Roach, Cat Stevens, Graham Nash and many many more! The piano has lived for the last 30 years at Little Dog Studios in Malden, MA; where it has been used to record such artists as Dave McKenna, Ray Santisi, Rakalam Bob Moses, Lazlo Gardony, Kenny Werner, and many others.

This piano had a complete rebuild in 2009 by Peter Mohr and has been maintained regularly by Frederick Mudge. Cosmetically, it has some dings and scratches reflecting its long history as a working instrument, but the sound is magnificent.
