I purchased this Steinway Model L in 1985 from the Steinway showroom on W. 57th St., NYC. I have been its sole owner. It has been moved only twice in the past 40 years. The exterior is in superb condition (other than a few scratches on the feet) and the interior has been tuned and maintained at least annually. Its sounding board is in mint condition. It has a rich, mellow tone and the action is substantial and even. No regulation or repairs are needed. It has received light use, almost none in the past 20 years. I am selling it because I am downsizing from a house to an apartment. Concert artist bench included.
