Beautiful and extremely rare Collard & Collard Grand Piano, built in London in 1834. This early-Victorian rosewood grand (serial #17690) represents one of the oldest surviving examples from the famed English maker known for its association with Muzio Clementi and exceptional 19th-century craftsmanship.

The piano features its original solid rosewood case, elegant turned legs, and a pencil-signed key-slip documented in an accompanying 1991 appraisal letter. Structurally complete but in need of a full restoration to return to concert-ready condition. Soundboard, bridges, and action are present but aged; strings, felts, and finish all require professional work.

This instrument is ideal for a collector, museum, or serious restorer seeking a historically significant grand with authentic Victorian detailing. When restored, Collard & Collard grands are admired for their lyrical tone and smooth, expressive touch.

Includes the original 1991 valuation letter estimating $25,000–$30,000 restored.
Located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Buyer to arrange professional moving/shipping.
