This is a Lester Parlor Grand Piano manufactured sometime between the 1930s and the 1940s. It’s hard for me to get an exact date on the build as some older Lester’s serial numbers don’t give the best indication. Through some research I was able to get an estimated build date of the 1930s or the 1940s as Lester stopped manufacturing in the 1960s and by that period they were only making upright pianos.

This piano has had only two owners. The first were my step Great Grandparents who bought it new. They sold it to my father in the early 1980s. When my dad took possession of it, he had it refinished, retuned and the key covers were replaced with brand new ivory covers.

The piano was last moved in 1992 to my parents house where it has been ever since. It has not seen much or any play in that time. It deserves to go to a home where it will be played and appreciated.

This is a very nice instrument that has aged well over the years and continues to get better.

The foot pedals are not currently attached but work fine and will be sold with the piano to the buyer and the bench is also included.
