Vintage 1945 Mason and Risch Baby Grand.
Very playable and accessible piano with beautiful action, sound and colour.
Recently tuned by Paul Hahn Pianos of Toronto:
this piano has a full metal frame so holds A440 well.
Ideal for a student of any age. Will provide years of enjoyment. Only selling as a move meant no room for a grand.
Interesting history: the Toronto factory reopened in 1945 post war with the same strong standards kept from prewar builds. In 1947 a US manufacturer took over the firm and standards fell. But these few years were very well made instruments. Back in the day, the instruments were endorsed by Franz Lizst.
