The Mason & Hamlin AA built between 1920-1944 is one of the finest pianos ever built and this one is in its original condition with the original components in place. Those who know pianos are aware the AA rivaled the Steinway A3 and some say it is the superior instrument. Plays beautifully with a rich bass and crystal treble tones. Ivory keys. Piano needs a bit of reconditioning, specifically about ten of the keys are chipped and need filing down, the cabinet needs rubbing out to bring out the shimmer of the red mahogany, fingernail scratches above the keys need touching up, and it needs a deep cleaning. With a little love it can be turned into quite the showpiece and it’s priced to sell quickly.
