This gorgeous Steinway & Sons medium grand piano has a one family ownership. Mrs. Ethel Houston Newlin Walker of Mission Hills, Kansas City, purchased two identical Steinway Medium Grands in 1967, expressly so President Harry S. Truman and her husband, Sydney C. Walker, could play duets. In 1975, Mrs. Walker gifted this piano to her granddaughter, Nancy Houston Frith, who is the current owner. The piano has barely been played and has been kept covered and in a temperature controlled room. Ms. Frith is in the process of downsizing and, unfortunately, she will no longer have the space to keep this iconic piece that was passed down to her from her grandmother. It comes with the original bench and two piano dollies.
