2000: Restored with new pin block, tuning pins, strings, hammers, felts, keycaps and the mahogany veneer refinished. 2022: Action regulated, keyboard felts replaced, voiced, pedal assembly rebuilt. Has new damp chaser. Tuned on a regular basis since obtained in 2000. This piano has an intact red spruce sound board that produces a much richer sound than newer sitka spruce sound boards. Owned by a professional collaborative pianist for 24 years. A wonderful instrument capable of an easily produced wide dynamic range. One of the first L's produced by Steinway in 1924.
