1897 Steinway model "A" grand piano in polished ebony. Serial #60566; 6'2"; 85 keys; modern legs. Rebuilt and refinished in early 1980's by David Gorsuch in Martinsburg WV (no longer in business). Beautiful family heirloom owned by my mother, which I inherited upon her death in 2019. Professionally appraised in 2019 for "as-is" value of $7,000 yet I will take any best offer. Appraiser/tuner/rebuilder (Kramer's Piano Shop in New Midway, MD) in 2019 estimated approximately $600 to put it in reasonable playable condition (i.e., tune, clean and lubricate action bushings and pins) or as much as $15K to rebuild with new Renner (from Germany) action components (as well as tune, refurbish, clean, etc.). My mother played the piano, but I do not, hence the reason I wish to sell it, and am VERY motivated to sell at a fraction of its appraised value.
