Partnering with Kawai, the Boston line is built in Japan to Steinway’s specific scale designs.

With its unique wide-tail design, the 5’ 4” GP163 has a noticeably deeper sound than similar size baby grands. Those extra square inches in the tail yield a larger soundboard and longer bass and tenor strings, giving the GP163 a voice closer to a conservatory-size grand.
