This Steinway model L is a great piano for someone who wants a Steinway grand piano, but doesn't want to spend a ton of $$$!

Built in 1959, it has a few years on it, but still plays and sounds GREAT! This is not a dinky little baby grand, this is a 5'10 1/2" grand with long strings and a good-sized spruce soundboard. We cleaned it up, polished the brass, tuned and voiced it, and this piano is ready for you to enjoy!!

This Steinway is 64 years old, so there are a few imperfections...but nothing that should stop you from making plenty of good music on it. We've had Steinways that were well over 100 years old that are still good, solid instruments....as a matter of fact, we have one in right now that is 134 years old and still sounds FANTASTIC and plays great! So don't be scared by a 64 year old Steinway. They DO NOT build them like they used to!

For comparison, a new Steinway the same size (the model O) currently lists for over $100,000 in satin ebony. That gives me the shivers. If you don't mind a few little dings and slight imperfections, you can save over 90% and still have a Steinway that you'll enjoy immensely!
