Knabe Parlor Baby Grand - Lovely sound and case - Golden Age / 5 great makers

This is a great instrument from one of the five great manufacturers - made during the Golden Age of pianos from about 1890 to 1930. I believe this is a 1920ish piano, but have to check with our tuner/technician.

We've owned it 15 years and loved that we got a great instrument, comparable to Steinway & Sons and the other 3 makers, but at a great price - as you do too! It sounds lovely and the case looks lovely, even with some sun damage on the straight side. We've always had our technician do whatever was needed to it and it has been regularly tuned. It's in original/unrestored good to very good condition. Keys are real ivory and in good shape. Cushioned piano bench is included.

Knabes, per the Piano Book (yes, you should get that!) note that they were renowned for sounding great with vocalists. Our daughter learned to play on this great instrument and my wife loves playing Schubert and Beethoven on it, but play your way, whatever you like!

It is in Arlington at a location with only 5 steps -easy/inexpensive move. We prefer to sell to a buyer with professional movers. We can recommend our technician's value-priced movers if you need a name/number.
