I am selling my one owner Kawai GX-2 Grand Piano (5'11", Polished black finish, Made in Japan). The original bench, and lid keys, are included.

A sticker underneath shows that this piano was built in September 2015. It was delivered to us from Kawai in late February 2016. Hence it is 7 years old. It was lightly played for the first 2 years, but as our children headed off to college, has rarely been played since. The condition is very close to new. The finish is extremely clean and unmarked. We are a non-smoking, pet free household, with a strictly enforced "never put anything on top of the piano" policy. This instrument has been treated gently, and has seen little wear and tear.

It has been tuned yearly without fail, and every time, our piano tech goes to pains to tell us what a nice instrument it is, and how easy to service. It has not needed any structural or mechanical repairs, nor any refurbishment. It is very much as it was when it arrived from Kawai. It was just tuned (May 3, 2023). Our tech gives this piano a clean bill of health.

Please note that this piano was a warranty replacement from Kawai, replacing a 2007 RX-2. As such, while it is less than 10 years old, the Kawai warranty has expired.

Moving will be arranged by the purchaser, and will be at your expense. For your protection, and mine, an insured, bonded, and licensed service should be used. My piano tech is experienced in these matters, and I can put you in contact with him if you would like help in arranging the move. Access at this end is easy: The piano is located on the ground level, and can be rolled out on a dolly through the adjacent garage.
